Step By Step Building
We open the doors at Biltmore Homes to give you a view of the construction of your new home.
Pre-Construction
Your home is built using our step by step construction plan and schedules. You are as involved as you want to be. We review the construction of your home every step of the way. We conduct regular review meetings of your home during the construction process. As with the entire process, your input is always welcome.
Selection
You start with our designer and the style home you have selected from our many different plans. At the selection meeting you will choose your interior and exterior design features. This is also when you select your paint colors, lighting, plumbing fixtures, countertops, cabinets, and flooring. The selection phase is a very exciting and important time in the home building process.
Foundation and Framing
At these stages of the construction process, you see your dreams begin to take shape. All of our homes are custom built to a standard of excellence.
Electrical Walk Through
At this point you will meet with our Project Manager to position your outlets, phone jacks, cable, and wiring.
Electrical and Plumbing
During this phase of construction your air conditioning, heating, plumbing, and electrical begins. Our highly skilled and licensed contractors complete the installation through inspection.
Exterior Painting
This is another exciting point during the construction process as your home begins to take on the look of your dreams.
Flooring
Depending upon your selections, some of the flooring may be installed at this point, including hardwood floors. Your floors receive extensive attention during the remainder of construction from sanding to multiple coatings of finish.
Drywall
After the insulation is installed your drywall is put in place and the rooms begin to take shape.
Interior Trim/ Cabinetry/ Fixtures
Details and personal touches of your new home are realized at this point. Experienced craftsmen and extensive review by our Superintendent and Project Manager ensure your home is a showplace.
Interior Finishing
The walls are painted, carpet and shelving is installed and any unique features to your home may be added. You may have selected surround sound, custom closets, or any number of optional features.
Final Touches
A lot happens as the completion of your home approaches.
